Love Stage

This ongoing manga is about a dull looking otaku named Izumi,who is part of a famous and talented family.His mom is movie star, his dad is a singer and his older brother,Shougo, is the lead singer to the popular band called The Crushez.All them have awesome talent and skill and been trying to get little Izumi into show business,but the only thing he wants to do is read/watch anime mainly Magical Girl Lala Lulu.

When it comes to the future, he plans on being a manga artist (don't we all),but theirs one little problem.When it comes to making his own manga,he sucks terribly at it! Then,one day,the famous and handsome star,Ryouma, comes back to town and is ready to perform in a commercial and has requested Izumi himself to co-star in it.Izumi's family manager who has been with them since the beginning,knows that this could be Izumi's big break and will not take "no" for an answer from our shy heroine.Reluctantly,Izumi agrees to doing the commerical.

At first, I didn't know why Ryouma was so determined to get Izumi into the commerical.I kept thinking things like,"Did Izumi's family put him up to this?" Does he get something out this exchange?" Have they met before or is he just gay?" Later,it turns out that Ryouma has a crush on him for a long time and would like for the two of them to start dating.But,here's the kicker not only are they both boys,but poor little Ryouma thought that Izumi was a girl this whole time! I started cracking up when I saw his face,when Shouga pulled up Izumi's dress to reveal that he was indeed a dude.I felt so bad for the guy,well that is until he almost raped poor Izumi in his own home.I was so glad Shouga was there that night to stop it.

How I would describe Izumi and Ryouma's relationship in a couple of words would have to be weird, funny and romantic.They both go through a lot of stuff together and together they both help the other grow up in different ways. In the beginning,I didn't know why they were so determined to get Izumi into show business,but after seeing him act for the first time I could see why.It wasn't because they were a famous family,so even if he had no talent in the biz he should be in it.It was because they all saw the potential and raw talent that he possessed.

This story is heart warming, romantic, inspiring, funny and full of family togetherness.I think that anyone who read this would definitely like it but if you don't like waiting for updates then I would wait till its complete.
