Kurozakuro

This awesome manga is revolves around a wimpy boy named Sakurai Mikito. He is weak in both mind and body and never stands up for himself. One night, he dreams about a little boy who calls himself Zakuro. He then tells Mikito that he will grant any wish that he desires, but for a price. He asks Mikito to make the tree in his dream bloom with beautiful flowers.At first, he starts to tell him that he has no wish that needs granting but then remembers how weak he was when people want to pick on him.So, he tells Zakuro that he wants to be strong.

When he wakes up he feels like a million bucks, he's stronger,faster and has better eye sight. Everything seems to be okay with the world until the bullies return and not only did he kick all of their butts but looked really crazy while doing it. He looked so crazy at that moment that he ended up scaring the daylights out of his best friend which led her to stop talking to him for a while.That's when things start to go down hill, he starts to see that not only has he acquired a short temper but also a very,very, very strong appetite.He ate so much food in this manga that I was surprised that he didn't grow fat and eventually explode. But,that's not the worst part,the worst part is he's starting to crave something more exotic, something more on the lines of human flesh and that's when he starts to freak out.

Zakuro,eventually, appears and explains that he has turned Mikito into an ogre.A strong and evil creature that preys on human flesh.He then panics and asks him to turn him back,but says he can't.According,to him once you've been turned,you can't become human again and that he should just let himself become an ogre and do what he says.He then refuses that demand and sets out into the world looking for a possible cure.

Personally, I don't think that their is a cure and that in the end he's going to either let it consume him or that he's going to somehow learn to control it.The things he ends up seeing and doing are so weird and dangerous if he didn't have those ogre powers he would be dead a long time ago.There is so much mystery around not only Zakuro, but the whole story in fact that I hope they don't leave any details out when they finally reveal them. My favorite characters would have to Zakuro and the twin assassins.This manga is quite awesome and I can't wait till the next update which I hope will be coming soon the suspense is killing me. I wonder what's going to happen in the end and hopefully that will be revealed soon.
