Tail of the Moon

Tail of the Moon is about a clumsy girl named Usagi who wants to become a ninja. The problem though is that she has no talent nor motivation when it comes to the subject. Her only talent is making healing herbs but doesn't even qualify her enough to graduate out of the kiddie ninja class and to make things worse, she's the granddaughter of her village's leader and also her family is famous for being one of the greatest ninja families in their village. So,she's kind of disappointing everyone with her lack of talent and abilities.

One day,her grandfather becomes so frustrated with her lack of progress that he just up and gives up on her and sends her off to a neighboring village to marry their lord and have his children. They were all hoping that she would give birth to many champion level ninjas considering the fact that Lord Hanzo has been known to have great skills and abilities, but here's the problem the handsome devil doesn't intend to marry her nor anybody else in the near future.I don't think he wanted to marry her because he didn't like her,I think it was because he thought that starting a family would drag him down or that she was a pawn to help her village get into his good graces.Either way it wasn't happening anytime soon.

Every since poor little Usagi was sent to the village, she has made it her goal to not only win her fiance's heart, but to finally finish her training in becoming a ninja. There's a lot of romance and sexual type scenes that I liked in this manga and I also liked how Usagi tried to grow up more and more everyday so that she could become a proper ninja.Personally, I thought Usagi had a lot of good qualities about her like she was intelligent (when it came to herbs), brave, honest, quick-witted and pure hearted but I also knew right from the start that she wasn't made to be a ninja. But,its good that she,at least, tried her hardest, right?

Usagi is goofy and clumsy while Hanzo is serious, well-coordinated and highly skilled, but don't they say that opposites attract? I liked reading their dangerous love story and reading about how they slowly both fell head over heels for each other. At first,I thought Hanzo was never going to marry her because of how serious and cold he was to her and how he looked at her like she wasn't a woman but a useless child (which she was).Nevertheless, these these two somehow make it work after countless battles, bloodshed, tears, deaths and betrayals but hey it was well worth it.Anyone who likes ninjas(which should be everyone),romance, violence and conspiracies should definitely give Tail of the Moon a try.

Thanks for Reading!
