Full Metal Alchemist

This exciting anime show revolves mostly around two boys named Edward and Alphonse. Now obviously you can tell immediately that the two were put through and awful tragedy that changed their lives forever. But, its not until a little later in the story do you find out how messed up the tragedy was.

According, to the story their mother was a kind woman who was raising them and they haven't seen their father in years. No one even knows where this guy was the entire time. His whereabouts were a complete mystery until hey were revealed in season 2. Anyway, not only is the father missing but the mom is sick and gets sicker and sicker until she finally dies. Now your probably thinking something along the lines of foster care, moving around alot or go looking for their mystery dad, right? Well, then you would be dead wrong.

These boys did none of the above when she passed, instead, they decided to learn alchemy because they heard it could bring the dead back to life. Yeah, like that plan has ever gone right in the past. Also, these two boys seem to be prodigies because they learned everything pretty quickly and it didn't take them long for them to think that they were ready for a resurrection attempt.

The boys, however, forgot I important rule about alchemy and that's equivalent exchange. The rule being that, whatever, your trying to accomplish while using alchemy you need to make sure that you can pay the price. When using alchemy something must be taken in order for to have it. So, what could be the price for returning their mother's life. Apparently, they'll take an arm and a leg literally. Plus his younger brother's entire body. Such, I bet that hurt like a bitch!

Years later, we find the boys now teenagers traveling to find what they call in this story he philosopher's stone which lets the user use alchemy and not have to worry about the price tag. But, here's the thing he stone is practically a myth and everybody wants to get their hands on it. The Eric brothers ( Edward and Alphonse), military, thieves, crazy and cruel murders and beings that were made from the seven sins. As you cam see theirs alot of competition.

My favorite villains are ones that were made after the seven sins. They are so freaking crazy its ridiculous! Also, I would never go near gluttony even if he claimed that he was for once in his life full. That group was always shrouded in mystery, you couldn't figure them out. Or their interest in the Eric brothers.

My favorite good guy besides Edward would have to be the flame commander. He always has that your going to do it whether you like or not look on his face no matter where or what he's doing. I loved the battle scene between Edward and the commander where he showed off his power. Plus their both totally hot! Edward even looks series and more mature looking when he has his hair down.

But, what is with the commander's friend with the glasses? Why is he so obsessed with his daughter? I know she's cute and all, but that's going to back fire on him when she becomes a teenager. I hope that their is a somen kind of extra episode where we could watch that unfold.

This show is totally awesome and it will keep you on your toes the whole way. I'm so glad that they decided to expand its aweomness with making a couple movies out of it. This show is action packed and is shrouded with so much mystery, it'll make your want pull your hair right out of your head while watching the next episode. I have never in my life heard anybody say anything bad about this show. Why?! Because it is awesome and no in can say otherwise. Their is just nothing bad about this show, but I would like to say that if your not a fan of corpses, people getting eaten or being torn inside out or people getting heir limbs chopped off and watching them region then thus isn't for you. But, its still a really epic show and I would recommend this to alot of you anime fans out there to enjoy this show.

Thanks for reading!
